GEDI
climate study from space
HyperArts worked with the University of Maryland to build the Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) project website. The GEDI instrument was launched to the International Space Station (ISS) in the fall of 2018. HyperArts worked with the GEDI team to create a custom project logo before building the GEDI website in WordPress.

It is no easy task to design a website and logo for a major NASA mission such as GEDI. They led us through each step of the process, listening carefully to our ideas, with an expert blend of efficiency and creativity. Their communication was superb throughout the effort and utilized state-of-the-art tools to facilitate the sometimes daily back and forth between our science team and their design team. HyperArts leveraged their existing processes and frameworks, where possible, saving us time and effort. The result is a unique website which feels vibrant and fresh, and which our visitors tell us is among the most attractive, accessible and easily navigated mission websites they have used.
