Static FBML Ajax Form Requirements

• Ability to upload files to your Web hosting server;
• Server must have PHP installed (very common);
• Some CSS and HTML knowledge (if you plan to customize the HTML to add form fields, embed video or Flash, add additional content, etc.

Our Ajax Contact Form utilizes a PHP form processor (hyperarts.php) which must be uploaded to your Web server. You then need to change the link in the HTML file to point to that PHP script on your server.

Our Form also calls an external CSS style sheet which will have to be uploaded to your server.

The $69 price is for the form as-is, with the fields shown in the example on our HyperForms Fan Page

If you or someone you know has at least some knowledge of working with HTML and CSS, you can easily customize the form to add new fields, or add additional content, as well. Although our example just shows the form and contact information, you can easily turn this Static FBML tab into a much richer page with more content. Check out the many Static FBML tutorials on our blog for guidance.

If you would like us to customize the form for you, please let us know the details of what you want added or changes and we'll provide a cost for doing this for you.

We can also install the tab (or the Static FBML application) on your Fan Page. This would be an additional cost.

All Packages

All packages are guaranteed to work at the time HyperArts delivers to the customer. Because Facebook often makes changes to how it implements FBML code or what features it supports, HyperArts cannot guarantee our code beyond the time of delivery. However, if at some point changes to Facebook's API necessitate revision of your code, HyperArts will, at our then-current hourly rate, be available to modify the code to conform to Facebook's requirements.

Code-only Package

Requirements

• Client will need some knowledge of HTML and basic FBML;
• Must have the ability to host images and CSS files on your own server;
• Packages with a Contact Form also require that Client hosts an Ajax PHP Form Processer;

Code-only packages will be emailed to Client, and will include:

• CSS style sheet file(s);
• One HTML/FBML file (to paste into the Static FBML "FBML" field);
• Ajax PHP Form Processor (Package #2 with Form Option ONLY);
• Supporting images;
• PDF with instructions.

Code + Implementation Packages

Implementation packages involve a phone or email consultation with a HyperArts employee, who will explain the process.

Requirements

• Client must have an existing Facebook Page (associated with a personal profile - this is standard);
• Facebook's Static FBML Application installed on your Fan Page (HyperArts can install this application as part of implementation, free of charge);
• HyperArts must be made a temporary admin of your Fan Page;
• Client must provide images cropped and properly sized according to the template specifications;
• Client must provide text in desired format (spell-checked, proper capitalization, desired line-breaks and paragraphs, maximum length 1,500 characters)
• Client may choose from the following font options;
• Client must host ALL images and a CSS file (if you do not have your own asset-hosting service or Web server we can arrange to host your CSS files for you) and provide links to HyperArts.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: Just two:

1. You cannot resell the code we provide you; you may use the code for multiple pages, but you may not sell the code as code, as we are doing at HyperArts;
2. The code we deliver is guaranteed to work at the time we deliver it. Although the code uses no "hacks" or "tricks" — just standard CSS, HTML and FBML — it's always possible Facebook could make changes to its API which might result in your fan page not displaying or functioning properly. If this happens, HyperArts will be available to make the necessary adjustments at our then-current hourly rate ($90, as of March 2010).

Code-Only Static FBML HTML/CSS Packages

We will email your package to you within one business day.

When HyperArts Implements your content to the Static FBML

After payment to HyperArts, Client must provide the content as detailed above. The HyperArts employee handling the project will be in contact with client via email regarding any issues, design and implementation.

HyperArts will show Client a sample of the finished product for approval. Client has one opportunity to make minor revisions. HyperArts will then implement the code on Client's Facebook Page. Packages include up to one hour of consulting time with Client, which can include a brief Static FBML tutorial for Client.

After the implementation of the code, Client may manipulate the FBML as desired. HyperArts retains a copy of the original code, but is not responsible for any changes made by Client after delivery. HyperArts is available for maintenance and assistance at our then-current hourly consulting rate.

Package #1

Single Designed Tab + Implementation

Package #1 Options:

• Basic – $99
  This option is the code only for the single tab. It is ready for your to customize. It also includes a CSS style sheet file, as well as the background images needed to create the shadow effect on the border. Look!
• Standard – $129
  This option also includes the code you need to embed video to your tab, as well as a set of social buttons to link to your other Social Media presences. Look!
• Premium – $169
  This option includes everything in the previous options, but also includes a contact form and an Ajax form processor. The form processor requires that the server on which it's hosted has PHP installed (this is common). The contact form includes the following fields: Name, Company, Phone Number, Email Address, and Message. Look!

This package is for one Static FBML tab, with a design selected from our available FBML templates. If you chose the option that includes a contact form, you can request additional fields. Please contact us and we'll let you know how your modifications impact the pricing.

Implementation Option

If you chose the option to have us implement your content for you, this is what is required:

• 1-2 images + logo (if applicable), in TIF, GIF, PNG or JPEG format;
• Text content, in electronic form;
• Page layout template specifed from the choices available here. View examples from our portfolio;
• A hosting server where the external CSS style sheet can be uploaded, and where images or other assets can be hosted.

HyperArts will:

• Apply your images and text to the template you select;
• Make one round of minor changes to the placement or content, per customer's input.
• Add the Static FBML application to your Fan page, and implement the tab, if desired. (Requires making HyperArts a temporary admin of your Fan Page.)

Package #2 Options

• Basic – $299
  This option includes the HTML/FBML file, CSS style sheet file, and is coded for 5 tabs. It is easily customized. Look!
• Standard – $349
  This option also includes the social icons, embed code for video and a photo gallery, and a contact form which is the 5th tab. Look!
• Premium – $429
  This option includes, as well as the above, form validation and an Ajax-driven form processor (requires it be hosted on a server with PHP installed - very common) which keeps the user on the page after the form is submitted, hiding the form and providing a success/thanks message. Look!

Details about the Contact Form code

If your package includes the Ajax form, you can either use the form processor we provide (form_submit.php) and keep the scripting in the HTML/FBML as provided, OR you can direct the form data to a form processor of your choice, by modifying:

• The <form> tag, to add an "action" parameter and URL to the form processor;
• The submit button coding (approx. line 216);

The contact-form code contains only the following fields: Name, Company, Phone, Email, Message. If you would like more fields in your form, please contact us and we'll discuss whether your modifications impact the pricing.
