One other question. Is there a way to make the slideshow play once the initial image is clicked so they don't have to then click again? You can do it with videos with the &autoplay=1 command. But not sure if you can with Flickr. Having it not play with the first click might keep people from clicking.

yep.. that was it.. I just copied the code straight from your post, guess the font you were using added the "fancy" quotes!! All working now.. Thanks so much.. Been trying to find a way to put the Flickr slideshow into a tab on our church's page fr a while.

Scott, You have some "fancy" quotes in that code and that will break it. Make sure your quotes, single & double, are straight up and down plaint-text quotes and not angled or curled. Assuming you've checked your URLs directly, then I think the quotes are the problem.

Yeah I can't get it to work either.. Code looks just like yours as far as I can tell.. Does a CSS stylesheet have to be in the code with it? Or just this code straight on a tab?

You can't do this in Static FBML. You would need to create a canvas application. You might check Wildfire or Involver, but it will cost.

I was wondering about embedding a voting platform in a static FBML page. Can be quite simple..10 photos down the left-hand side and a vote button beside it.

Yes. Your URL to your Flickr slideshow goes to a blank page, so it's incorrect. Your URL to your activation image (imgsrc) is incorrect. I'm not sure where you got that URL but it's not valid and doesn't go to an image. Always check your URLs directly in your browser to make sure they're correct. Yours aren't.

Not *quite* sure what you're asking, Lu. Your Flickr link would be the "swfsrc" value and you should test the link directly in your browser to make sure it's valid. "imgsrc" value should be a link to the activation image, the image that must be clicked to start the slideshow.
